Wounded Warrior Project
Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services and events for wounded veterans of the military. WWP is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida.
The organization was founded in 2003 by John Melia, a wounded veteran of the Iraq War. WWP’s stated mission is “to honor and empower Wounded Warriors”. The charity provides assistance to veterans who have been physically or psychologically wounded as a result of their military service.
